Hi there, I’m Karen Templer of KT Creative Studio. As a creative polymath who is always on the hunt for a new challenge, I’m extremely fortunate to have built a practice that ranges from design, at one end, to writing and editing at the other — with art direction, styling and photo editing spanning the whole. While my work varies in format (from websites to books to consumer goods), it largely inhabits the DIY realm of food, home and garden, and slow fashion.

Some projects span weeks or months; others become years-long entrepreneurial endeavors, such as Fringe Supply Co. (2012-2020) and Readerville (2000-2009). Pictured here are some of my favorite things I’ve created.
